, the Estevan area is a hot spot. And that sparked Bert Roach’s imagination. Today the community in southeastern Saskatchewan is home to the Canadian Crop Circle Research Museum.
Well, it’s really more of an exhibit inside an existing museum for now. But, much like the crops that give rise to the phenomenon, the facility will grow under long-range plans. “It’s just the beginning,” said Roach. The attraction is believed to be the first of its kind in Canada — and possibly even further afield.
The idea originates with Roach, the same man who saw the tourism potential in a red paper clip.
